The Woman Who Started Everything

Every universe has an origin story.
A moment when the rules of the world changed.
A decision that set events in motion long before anyone understood the consequences.
In the DreamGirls multiverse, there are many powerful women.
Leaders.
Strategists.
Scientists.
Rebels.
Women who manipulate events from the shadows and women who change history by stepping directly into the spotlight.
But if you trace enough of those stories back far enough, an interesting pattern begins to emerge.
Certain events keep pointing toward the same mysterious figure.
A woman whose influence appears across multiple timelines.
A woman whose actions seem to echo through different worlds and realities.
Sometimes she appears as a mentor.
Sometimes as a rival.
Occasionally as a legend — spoken about but never fully understood.
In some accounts she is described as brilliant and visionary.
In others she is ruthless, willing to push boundaries that others would never dare to cross.
And in more than one version of the story, people whisper that she may have discovered something far more dangerous than power.
Knowledge.
Not the kind of knowledge that simply changes a career or a life.
The kind that changes the structure of reality itself.
The strange thing is that no two stories about her are exactly the same.
In one world she is remembered as a pioneer.
In another she is blamed for unleashing forces that reshaped everything.
And in at least one timeline, she may have vanished entirely.
What we do know is this:
Many of the women who dominate the DreamGirls universe today seem to have been touched by her story in one way or another.
Sometimes through technology.
Sometimes through ideas.
Sometimes through conflicts that began long before they were born.
Which raises an unsettling possibility.
What if the DreamGirls universe didn’t simply evolve on its own?
What if someone helped start it?
And if that’s true…
Where is she now?
